About the full diagnostic
Updated
The full diagnostic probes ten subsystems in turn through your browser's hardware APIs: display and colour depth, WebGL graphics acceleration, network latency, audio output, microphone input, power and battery, CPU cores, memory, storage quota and input devices. It combines the results into a health score and a printable report, which is handy when selling a device or filing a support request.
How to use it
- Close other heavy apps and tabs.
- Start the run and allow microphone access when asked.
- Wait for all ten checks to finish.
- Review any notices, then print or save the report.
Frequently asked questions
What does the health score mean?
It reflects how many of the ten checks passed. A notice doesn't always mean a fault: some checks can't run in certain browsers.
Can I share the report?
Yes. Print it or save it as a PDF from your browser's print dialog.
Is it a replacement for manufacturer diagnostics?
No. It checks what the browser can reach. For deep tests such as disk health or RAM errors, use your manufacturer's tools.
